The U.S. Yellow School Bus Project (YSB) is a public-private partnership designed to safeguard the transportation of our school children as well as serve as a valuable resource for protecting our communities and our nation. Our initiative is to provide interoperable communications, tracking, surveillance, and transportation for our country's yellow school buses as a standby resource for public safety. These measures will ensure the safety for our children, increase the number of first emergency responders to crisis situations, and supply transportation deployment resources for State or National emergencies; such as Hurricane Katrina.

The YSB has formed an alliance as an authorized dealer for Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Helio to develop funding for this initiative. When you activate wireless service through our website, YSB and our participating Enterprise partners will donate a total of $100 to the Yellow School Bus Digital Trust. This money will be used to purchase interoperable communication and tracking equipment for our nation's school buses. We encourage your support in our endeavor.
