YELLOW SCHOOL BUS Press Release September 11, 2004   Contact:  Margy LaFond                                     (443) 280-4663 PROTECTING OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN (BALTIMORE, MD)  Today, in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, Millennium Technologies, LLC announced a new initiative, the Yellow School Bus Project, to help ensure the safely of American school children. The program, which will be piloted in 15 states, including Maryland and Virginia, beginning in October, will bring together public and private entities in support of the President’s initiatives for safer communities as a result of the recommendations contained in the 911 Commission’s report.  The Yellow School Bus Project will place wireless communication and video equipment on school buses to allow the drivers to record and immediately report suspicious activity in or around the bus.
